Enright's March Break Peek n Peak Ski Trip 2009

Just a chance to catch up and let everyone know that the Chongs had a great time socializing with those Enrights at Peek n Peak. Beth's, Paul's and Greg's families and kids were actually on good behaviour (just kidding).

The Enrights outshopped us but perhaps our kids outskied them ... I am sure that will reverse itself in due time.

Paul had an opportunity to introduce us to the SH and the kids had a great laugh out of that.

I've posted pictures from the trip on my mvpfotography.smugmug website. Have a look.

Save the CBC

I've become a fan of the CBC through the influence of Julie. When I received this email (see below) from one of our hockey parents, I thought it would be natural to forward it to all of the Enright Clan because they are such loyal supporter of the CBC.

Subject: Save the CBC!

Hello everyone,
I really did just sign the petition. This is me, Doug, speaking, by the way, not the automatic email that comes with this information. The CBC is a major force in connecting the many regions and cultures of our amazing country, and I believe that a journey forward without a strong CBC−Radio Canada would be a perilous one indeed. Stephen Harper has done too many stupid things already with his minority government. Let's not let him do any more damage! Please sign the petition − every name on this list represents many more than one − any pollster will tell you that, and a big enough number will make them think again, if they can think at all..........okay, so what follows is the rest of the Avaaz email.......cheers, Doug Feaver

I just signed an urgent petition to save the CBC from massive budget cuts. The email is below, here's the link to sign the petition:

Thanks!

Ming, speaking again ... I had to put spaces in the "h__p" around the link address because Blogger would now allow me post the link. Curious as to why that is?

Welcome to the Enright Blog

I thought it would be a good idea to start this forum to allow all of us connected with the Enright Clan to keep in touch. As we get busier and busier with our families, it gets increasingly more difficult to find time to call or write to keep in contact. Often, we have stories to tell but we're not sure if it's worthy of an email to the various levels of family. With the blog approach, those who are interested can find their own comfort level of keeping in touch. So if you think you are up to it, join in ... if not you can always find those who are contributing and see what they are up to.
