Thank You to All for their Contribution to the 2009 Ossie Invitational IV

On Sunday August 30, the golf world witness the passing of the Ossie Cup from last year's Champions (Matthew and Patrick) to the new 2009 Champions (William and Ben).  Patrick handed over the venerable Green Jacket, emblematic of Golf Supremacy in the Chong-Enright (or is it the Enright-Chong) Golf world.  The latter won by 4 strokes with a four under par score over the hard charging teams of Team Matthew-Patrick and Team Greg-Kevin-Ryan. With 4 holes left the 3 teams were separated by only 2 strokes. However down the stretch, the eventual winner showed their true Champion form.

Long drives were won by Morgan and Greg while Closest to the Pin were shared by Bruce, David and Ben. Team Carolyn-Ming won the Best and Worst dressed Golfer Awards and Team David-Morgan won the Most Honest Golfer Awards.
Ming and Julie wish to thank all who contributed to the food haul which rumours have reported as being still feeding the Hamilton Chongs for over 2 weeks. Julia's (the one from Toronto) creative cake honouring the event was a special addition which will be difficult to match. Thank you Julia.

The same event was run to coincide with Matthew's University Send-Off. All of us in Hamilton along with Matthew would like to thank everyone's generous contributions to his university funding. Of course, we are all now contractually to benefit 10% of all of his future earnings.

To Bruce and Kevin and the Chongs from Toronto, Markham and Hamilton, we recognize your efforts tpo come so far to help us celebrate. We understand that it is not easy to come this far with kids in tow and facing work the following day.

SEE YOU ALL IN 2010 at the OSSIE V.
Below are a selection of pictures from the day. Usually, I post these pictures on my MVPfotography Smugmug site but it is temporarily down. In the meantime, I will keep the pictures here.

Apologies to all those who did not make it to the photo shoots (for example, my poor dear Mom and Sisters ... Sorry). Morgan has still more pics to send to me so I hope he was a lot more attentive and dutiful in this matter than I was.
