Julie's 2010 Edition of Martyrs Mom finished two months of weekly training and culminated the effort with the Row 4 Heart Regatta held on Saturday July 24th at Bayfront park. Buoyed by their new uniforms and the return of their coxie, Carolyn who just returned from a month long stint at SHAD UBC, the team turned in a great effort.

last. Sorry for building up your expectations. Despite troubling equipment problems, the team fought through three heats to make it through the SLOW HEAT Finals in which the Martyrs Moms came second out of three boats. They were leading but got nipped at the finish. But the big WINNER is the Heart and Stroke Foundation, for which the Martyrs Moms raised nearly $1,500. Thank you to all those who donated to the effort.
